2
PRESCHOOL PRODIGIES® for our Youngest students
We believe that a child's music education should begin early in life. Woodridge Music studio partners with Prodigies Music® to bring early childhood music education to young children. Preschool Prodigies® is for our youngest students, around ages 3 – 5. We offer private one-on-one lessons, or a class setting with students in the same age group. Prodigies® is a great way to start a young child on a path of discovering music before choosing an instrument.
3
multiple studio rooms to meet your musical needs
We offer 3 different studio rooms to meet your musical needs: a beautiful Yamaha grand for intermediate and advanced students; a Yamaha Clavinova for digital students, (and those wishing to try their hand at composing on the latest version of Finale®), and an acoustic upright for beginners and intermediate students. For instrumental lessons not needing a piano, there is generous space for comfortable lessons.
4
Multiple well trained and Experienced Music teachers
We currently have 5 music teachers, all with either college training or professional performance experience. Our music teachers are dedicated to learning about your personal musical goals and helping you to achieve them in fun, engaging lessons.
5
AWARD-WINNING STUDENTS
We have a proven track record of award-winning students in various state-wide competitions, including ISSMA (Indiana State School Music Association) and Woodridge Music Academy’s Fine Arts Competition. Beginning in 2025, students may also participate in the Indiana Arts Festival.
6
exceptional student recitals
We offer exceptional student recitals twice a year in beautiful local churches. Some recitals are based on a theme such as Christmas, or “Dress the Piece”. Students have a lot of fun dressing like the piece they are performing, or dressing up from that piece’s time period. All of our recitals are free of charge and open to the public. We encourage all friends and family members to attend and support their favorite musicians.
7
Valuable Community Opportunities
Our students frequently have opportunities to perform publicly at local festivals, restaurants, church services, and community events. Our local community enjoys supporting our students.
8
Each Milestone Achievement Celebrated
We celebrate each milestone a student achieves. Trophies, ribbons, fun rewards, and certificates are also given out at recitals for special accomplishments, and for graduating high school seniors.
9
specialized testing evaluations for our students
We participate in specialized testing evaluations for our students when they have completed a level. We have partnered with the new Piano Adventures Exams to provide online theory exams and evaluations of students' performance videos from their professional music staff. Students then receive evaluation comments and a certificate.
10
FLEXIBLE SCHEDULES
We offer early morning and lunch time lessons for home schoolers, retirees, college students and working professionals. You're sure to find something that fits your busy schedule.
11
Month to Month lessons
The Studio does not require semester minimums for lessons. Student lesson fees are paid on a month-to-month basis. If you are ready to start, you have nothing to lose. The Studio will not commit you to a long-term contract.
